FACULTY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Four instructors have an average of 25 years in the mortgage business, with experience as broker/owners of their own companies
  • Three instructors hold both the CMC and CRMS professional designations (out of five total people in Arizona).
  • AzAMP instructors live and work in both of Arizona’s major metro areas – Phoenix and Tucson.
  • Three instructors are approved by the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) to teach NAMB courses in any state in the U.S.
  • One instructor spent 18 years at DFI and was instrumental in drafting new laws for mortgage professionals.
  • One instructor is the current co-chair of the education committee for NAMB
 

Faculty List

ROCKE ANDREWS, CMC, CRMS
Rocke has been originating loans in Southern Arizona for over 20 years, owning his own broker company for over 15.  He has an extensive background in the development and leadership of education on a national basis and currently serves as Co-Chair of the National Association of Mortgage Broker’s Education Committee and serves as a national instructor for over five years.  Rocke is a Past President of the Arizona Association of Mortgage Brokers and currently serves on the board as a director.

JODY DAVIS, CRMS
Jody currently serves as the Chair of the Association of Mortgage Professionals Legislative Affairs Committee and served as its past president.  Jody was instrumental in helping work with legislators, the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions and Arizona Mortgage Lenders Association that formed the team that introduced mandatory loan officer licensing to the state of Arizona. 

DOROTHY DUMNICH
Dorothy spent 18 years at the Department of Financial Institutions where she functioned in a variety of capacities including Examiner-in-Charge and Division Manager of the Mortgage Lending Division supervising the Examinations of Mortgage Brokers and Mortgage Bankers.  Dorothy was instrumental in drafting new laws for mortgage professionals that were enacted into law in 1987 that govern the industry, and was a major contributor to the Arizona Administrative Code and MB Rules. Since 2000, Dorothy as served as the Executive Director of the Association of Mortgage Professionals. 

BILL HOWE, CMC, CRMS
Bill currently serves as President-Elect for the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) and is Chairman of the Certification Committee.  He has been a mortgage broker since l987 and serves as a national instructor for NAMB and an expert witness for the mortgage industry.  He has authored exam questions and reviewed the exams for NAMB and the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions.  Bill is a Past President of the Association of Mortgage Professionals.

MARK L. ROSS, CMC, CRMS
Mark has been in the real estate lending industry since 1971 and was one of the founding members of the Association of Mortgage Professionals where he was elected its first President in 1980.  His leadership reached beyond Arizona where he served on the NAMB Board of Directors as both Secretary and Treasurer of the organization.  A national NAMB instructor, Mark also served as President of the Arizona Association of Mortgage Brokers in 1988 and served on the national Education Committee.
